“Yes, well, as a true Canadian, as you can tell from this here blog: We stick together! Pop Montreal is a great yearly festival in Montreal—our SXSW. I went to see Radio Radio on their showcase, yet another inspired and out-there French Canadian band to potentially cross over into the “Anglo” (in Montreal, which is part of French Canada, we are either “Anglos” or “Francos”). Radio Radio is a band emerging out of a great Franco music label and organization, led by a true Frenchman, named Gourmet. They rap in French over Fever Ray samples, and the people pogoed. Made me excited for Montreal.”
