After I “fixed” my iPhone, iOS4 again killed my iPhone - apps still crash, the lags for touching things have is a 5 to 10 seconds…this is the worst operating system upgrade since Windows Me.

I just got off the phone with both AT&T and Apple about the problems with my iPhone.

AT&T said:
Um, wait a few days, there aren’t any reports of network outage in your area, and my favourite: “Just call Apple”.

Apple said:
Power cycle, restore from new (thereby losing all of my apps and such), reinstall iOS4…and when it didn’t work, they said they had no idea what was causing this and that no one else has reported any problems like this.  (Not counting those 87K people who’ve read about it on Gizmodo.)

But if it’s a magical manufacturer’s defect, they’ll replace it with a 3GS, or offer me the iPhone 4 at the discount price.  Of course upgrading the operating system doesn’t fall under that category, since the phone worked perfectly until I updated it.

My facial expression was literally a ragetoon during the entire conversation.
