Here’s all you need to know, especially if you’re a fan of Quebec/Belgian/French beers like me:

The tulip glass, most commonly sold by Duvel in the U.S. as part of a “gift pack,” is Cox’s desert island pick. It has the same qualities as Sam Adams’ engineered glass, but allows for more swirling, even less beer warm-up, and even includes the same laser-etched “nucleation point” at its bottom.

The glasses I use I received as a gift from a member of Cuizinier’s entourage.  They’re not quite true “tulip” glasses (more like a chalice - I loved him for getting the double meaning), but it fits a bottle of Éphémère (my current seasonal favourite - APPLES), la Fin du Monde (my year-round favourite), or Trois Pistoles (my ‘tourtière’ beer) perfectly.  I like my glasses slightly chilled and drinks served at about 48ºF/9ºC (Éphémère colder at about 39º/4º.)

I drink Molson, Boréale and Kronenbourg straight out of the bottle, as cold as possible.  Fuck a glass.
