This is what’s happening in Montreal tonight, at a peaceful protest. Injuries caused by Montreal Police batons towards an unprovoked, peaceful civilian.
This isn’t my Canada. This isn’t my city. This has to stop.
I’ve had conversations with both “Pierre Poutine”, Adam Carroll, and another key player mentioned in the media in connection with the Robocalls scandals in the very recent past. If you’re reading media reports that they’re still under investigation, those are stories planted by the Conservative Party. (Haven’t established if the journalists involved are willing players or useful idiots.) Both have spoken to me at great length and at great personal risk to themselves (Adam Carroll does have a public blog, which you should follow for his side of the story).
Basically, from the information I’ve gathered — hard evidence — they’re being crucified by the government. Mr. Carroll is an upstanding public servant who made a wrong choice - who amongst us hasn’t? And his case and personal life are being turned upside down by a government with a personal vendetta. Yes, he made a childish mistake - hell, I have on many occasions - but the absurdity of him being pulled in front of Parliament is more egregious.
“Pierre Poutine” is a wild goosechase and nothing more than media sensationalism. His part in the scandal is minimal at best, and most facts reported have been categorically wrong. Not that I’m sticking up for his actions, or those of RackNine, but it’s minuscule compared to the real players. I know of one prominent journalist who has been on his tail the past few days, but he’s chasing a dead end.
The other person involved (whom I won’t mention due to an anonymity agreement we negotiated due to his political persecution and the evidence I’ve seen) is completely innocent. The Conservative Party would like you to believe that he’s the lone guilty party, and has produced “affidavits” from several of his former coworkers to “prove” his guilt. They don’t add up. The events that took place don’t coincide with the information in the affidavits. In fact, in light of the detailed timeline of events and operations of the Conservative Party, it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to be even remotely involved. They’re going to try to destroy him in the media and in the courts, which to his credit he’s fully prepared to fight back with every ounce of energy he has. I’m a natural skeptic, but I believe him (mostly because of the evidence I’ve seen from the Conservative HQ). He wasn’t responsible, period. Party members, much much higher up orchestrated the illegal voter suppression and diversion on and before Election Day. I have those emails and communications. I know those names. I have the proof. Last chance to come clean.
If Elections Canada issues their report and fingers these men for offences they didn’t commit, I have the evidence to prove them innocent. My worry is that the RCMP under the control of a certain junior minister of the Crown has been obstructing this from the beginning. Why? The election results. The money involved for his campaign backers. And he’s sort of a terrible human being with a complete lack of ethics.
We’ll see what EC comes up with. Then we’ll find out the truth. Once again, last chance for the government to come clean and start acting like adults. Or I start naming names in the party executive, along with the proof, and wait for the police to take the proper action.

a) The Saskatchewan’s proxy server’s records can be retrieved. U.S. and U.K. law enforcement would laugh hysterically at a contrary assumption. The only way they couldn’t opens up extreme legal liability on the part of that ISP.
b) Chris Crawford, a staffer who had been previously demoted and fired several times, was given a huge promotion within the Conservative Party immediately after filing his affidavit against Michael Sona. Same with Matthew McBain. There are very serious holes in this part of the story, which frankly make no sense at all to anyone familiar with the workings of Tory HQ. They also wouldn’t hold up in court, based on evidence I’ve seen.
c) RackNine isn’t the primary robocalling company. Not by a long shot.
d) But McGregor and Maher are correct in their assumptions - the connections to RackNine via the Saskatchewan proxy server were not made in Burke’s candidate headquarters. Investigators are looking at the wrong people in the wrong part of the Conservative Party.
A lot of speculation has been going around about the identity of “Pierre Poutine”/”Pierre Jones” at what some might consider the heart of the Robocalls scandal; however, this is only one side, and certainly not the largest part of the overall investigation into wrongdoing by the Conservative Party of Canada during the 41st General Election.
This much is publicly known: Pierre Poutine had a business relationship with RackNine and 2call.ca of Alberta. In media interviews, RackNine owner Matt Meier claimed he able to trace the IP information supposedly momentarily unguarded to an address in Guelph; Mr. Meier confirmed this information with me in a subsequent email, also stating that he was unable to get any more information due to the information being protected behind a “veil.” Of course, by the time I had come into contact with Mr. Meier, I had already begun investigating and had found out the identity of Pierre Poutine. Whether or not there was a layer of protection when Mr. Meier backtracked him, I was able to trace this information to a location that matched information about a Conservative Party campaign staff member.
This staff member had a prior relationship with RackNine, a company that does not try to hide the fact that it openly supports Conservative Party and (small c) conservative operations. It has also been reported that the person behind Pierre Poutine was a self-claimed “cellphone expert”, and had more than enough technical expertise to set up a parallel operation to his existing legal business relationship, or to disguise his unethical and possibly illegal activities as a legitimate business venture. Whether or not RackNine just didn’t vet their new customer with more diligence than a pharmacist vets a customer before filling a prescription for Vicodin, or whether the information provided to Elections Canada wasn’t the full story (or accurate) isn’t for me to decide or investigate - that would be the job of the RCMP. I’m just saying that that particular connection and the information provided to Elections Canada doesn’t check out.
Another interesting fact about Pierre Poutine is that the day he stopped cooperating with Elections Canada and hired a prominent Conservative Party of Canada lawyer, is that his communications activity changed and it became a great deal harder to investigate him than it had been in the past. It’s clear that someone much smarter and someone who would know the exact trail investigators would be looking at gave him instructions on saving his, well, ass. A little too late, though.
According to Elections Canada’s expenditure report for the campaign of Marty Burke (Guelph), this person was paid a salary of $1,100 as a member of the staff during the campaign. It’s enough to make him a undeniable member of Mr. Burke’s campaign and a paid staffer for the Conservative Party of Canada. Whether or not he was paid any other amount of money by other people close to the party is unknown at this time. I have reached out to Pierre Poutine, with the only response being from a Conservative Party lawyer - the same lawyer who has been tasked with uncovering the identity of Pierre Poutine. Additionally, I’ve received confirmation from no less than one dozen confidential sources on his identity. Their information checks out and corroborates mine, thus I feel comfortable in revealing his identity publicly.
Pierre Poutine is Andrew Prescott.
For what it’s worth, his lawyer is directly connected to the Conservative Party, as well several other ridings in Ontario (at least).
Giving myself a self-congratulatory backslap for finally letting this one out. Now, to watch my email box and Twitter feed explode. And it’s not like I don’t have dirt on them, too.

Conservative Party general election ad from 2006 - “Accountability”
Hilarious when in the context of the F-35 fallout.

This is the first result, and not even close to being final. These numbers will most definitely change, but not by the dramatic swings indicated by this first result.
So, in case you weren’t counting, 142 seats for the Conservatives is actually a net loss, and is pretty much the exact same result from the 2008 election. The NDP picked up some seats in Québec and Saskatchewan, while the Liberals really scored in Ontario as well as the Yukon.
Like I said, the numbers will definitely change as I keep tweaking with the model, and there may even be some pickups by the Bloc.
Biggest surprise: Michael Ignatieff might not have lost his seat after all.
(Most awkward post title ever?)
Note that this is only a preliminary list, subject to additions or subtractions at any time as more information is obtained from sources and official agencies. Starred ridings (15) are ones that not only myself, but election officials are concerned about. Four of these ridings were probable Ontario Liberal victories, split evenly between the Progressive Conservatives and Ontario NDP. Just one additional seat for the Liberals would have given them a majority government.
The same company that was contracted by the federal Conservative Party of Canada for robocalling was also retained by the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. These connections and the names behind them will be explored at a later (but sooner) date.
Guelph, Northumberland—Quinte West, and Scarborough—Rouge River have documented cases of robocalling, voter intimidation and suppression. Overall, this was the lowest turnout in Ontario electoral history.

And this is how the 2011 Ontario general election should’ve turned out if Ontarians weren’t subjected to systematic robocalling and/or voting irregularities. The campaign of voter suppression, intimidation, and misdirection was entirely directed at Liberal and NDP supporters, using one of the “research, marketing, and telecommunications” companies the Conservative Party of Canada and the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario retained.
The Crux: There would still be a Liberal majority government at Queen’s Park.
At least fifteen provincial ridings were targeted, with the Progressive Conservatives and NDP each gaining two seats they shouldn’t have. (Specifically in the ridings of Northumberland—Quinte West and Perth—Wellington for the Tories, and Davenport and Essex for the NDP - both NDP wins were classic examples of splitting the centrist/centre-left vote.)
Anecdotal evidence from many Ontario voters reveals that they knew they were being harassed and misdirected by the Progressive Conservatives, which may have contributed to their second-place finish. There is also at least one more seat the NDP should’ve won from the Progressive Conservatives, however this is not reflected in the graph as it cannot be confirmed yet. Of particular concern is the riding of Kitchener Centre.
Who won the Louisiana primary?
Why, President Obama did. By a margin of 23,782 votes over Rick Santorum. With an advertising budget of about $0.

There is now evidence that robocalls were used by the Progressive Conservatives during the 2011 Ontario general election, tied to the same firms that employed them during the 2011 federal election. These were more harassment calls than misdirection calls, and although this plan pretty much backfired for the PCs and Tim Hudak, voter turnout was at a record low (49.2%). There was also at least once incident of sabotage against an NDP candidate.
So now we get to add another 107 provincial ridings to our examination of the elections of 2011. Good grief.
I have two cabinet ministers that could easily be implicated (or outright proven involved) in the robocalls and voter suppression that took place in the 2011 election, even as far back as 2008. The identity of these two Ministers of the Crown could bring down the entire Conservative Party, especially considering the specific evidence I have in my possession. This isn’t just a scandal involving a few ridings that may have gone rogue — it’s looking more like a well thought out plan devised in advance and probably began on or before April 12th, 2011.
I have names. I have dates. I have the expense reports. I have the transactions that were never reported to Elections Canada in the first place. I have identified the companies involved through intense cross-referencing and data mining (there is ALWAYS a paper trail). Now, to find out the extent of this scandal and how it affected the outcome of the election. Most theories put the Conservatives into a minority government situation; a few put the NDP in power; essentially all show massive seat losses for the Liberals that they shouldn’t have lost. (I will be collaborating with one of the country’s top political experts to get the exact data and results…more on this later.)
This is my read on the situation: the PM will not call an impartial judicial inquiry into what happened - it would be political suicide. If Elections Canada has been given false information, then their investigations will lead to nowhere. That leaves three options to getting to the bottom of this: intense pressure from all Canadians, a Royal Commission called by the Governor General, or intense and unrelenting pressure from the opposition parties in Parliament. I would urge in the strongest possible terms for these three options to be supported and exercised by all citizens who still believe in the sanctity of democracy. It’s only a matter of days before I have the undeniable proof and paperwork that will hold up in a court of law, and I happen to be a pretty impatient person. I’m also very good at my job and can make things very uncomfortable for all parties involved in this clusterfuck.
I don’t think I need to remind those involved of the geopolitical consequences of the truth getting out; they can compute those results on their own. Their situation is far more precarious than they realize. For themselves, and for all of Canada and what remains of its reputation.
it’s a Resevoir Dogs kinda night.
