At the request of the National Rifle Association, Gov. Bobby Jindal has vetoed a bill that would have made it a crime to illegally carry firearms within 1,000 feet of a sanctioned parade or demonstration.
Ugh, laws that are fucking awesome: Making it legal to combine public nudity, public intoxication and public gun-carrying. Because nobody has ever been shot during a parade on St. Charles Avenue before.
